The district of Ponte di legno – Tonale is one of the most appreciated and admired ski locations in the entire alpine region.
Situated on the border of Lombardy and Trentino, it offers a unique 100 km of ski slopes to suit all abilities, evolving from the natural surroundings of the Stelvio National Park and the more regional Adamello Park.
There are 28 different ski lifts, guaranteed snow, culminating on the Presena glacier (3000 m) and where you can ski well into spring. The brand new and very fast cable car Presena will take you, in just 7 minutes from Passo Paradiso (2585 m) to Passo Presena (3000 m) from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Adamello, Lobbie, Presanella and Pian di Neve, the largest glacier in the Italian Alps. One of the longest ski slopes in Europe starts from Presena and continues non-stop to Ponte di Legno for 10 snow covered kilometres. Then there is snowpark, a fantastic downhill slope off-piste and also the possibility to mountaineer on the Adamello glacier.
