In Val di Sole lovers of mountain bike have the opportunity to discover unforgettable scenarios and to live an emotional experience during every bike ride.

Our numerous itineraries are easily available on maps, thanks to gps or at the entrance of cable cars opened also in summer. The more active guests have the possibility to reach the most picturesque corners and live a charming experience in the mountains. You will walk down woods, dirt roads and old mule tracks as well as go trough bridges and do mountain excursions.
Among stunning views, near the Dolomitic rocks or under the peaks of Alps and glaciers, you will achieve various mountain huts. There, it is a pleasure to eat typical meals and local specialities: in the numerous Alpine cottages you can taste milk and cheese. It becomes a genuine adventure riding your mountain bike!

Exhaustive guides are available at the Tourist Office in Mestriago, which is opened every day from 8.30 AM to 12.00 AM and from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Bike Val di Sole Centre

In Commezzadura at the departure of the lift Daolasa – Val Mastellina there is the fantastic Bike Val di Sole Centre, that is opened from May to September.

This Centre was created in 2009 and it is composed of a team of professional instructors qualified FCI. They will suggest you the most appropriate tracks, both for lenght and difficulty. In this way, you can discover Val di Sole in an alternative way, going trough trails of the World War or among lakes, woods, waterfalls and along tracks, which are great for the youngest and inexperienced bikers too.
A funny experience for your healty lifestyle. You can become experienced bikers, starting from basic lessons and learning the technic “gravity” on downhill routes. The aim is to discover the widest face of Trentino.

For the families with children the cycle path is long 36 km and is directly linked to the Bike Centre. It represents the most suitable and easiest chioce in order to venture yourself in the valley floor and admire the beautiful landscapes.

The Centre provides free and spacious parking lot, where you can leave the car. You can also hire a bike and then go to your activities. There are not busy streets to pass through and the train station is just above the Centre.

It is possible to follow the total cycle path and then return to your accomodation facilities on the Dolomiti Express train: is available during the summer, with different carriages in order to contain 80 bikes. Where the Dolomiti Express does not arrive, we have the BiciBus, which covers the places from Mezzana to Cogolo.

At the Bike Val di Sole Centre you can find both different kinds of mountain bikes and the following equipment: bike seats for children until 22 Kg, little carts with two wheels for babies, safety helmets, small bicycles with training wheels, little bicycles of wood in order to teach smaller children to find their own balance and basket for the bicycle’s front for little dogs.
